My Review of The Dark Knight

I decided yesterday that I was going to go to the 12:01 a.m. showing of The Dark Knight. The hype surrounding this film was tremendous. Not just the fact that this was Heath Ledgers last film, but also that the movie was also good. Well I need to say that director Christopher Nolan did not disappoint. This movie was a non-stop roller coaster ride. Full of twist and turns, and curve balls you just did not see coming. The movie was about 2 hours and 30 minutes, but I still didn’t want it to end.

This movie features Heath Ledger’s Joker vs Christian Bale’s Batman. The movie played off how these two are diametrically apposed to each other. Yet they are intertwined. The Joker even in one scene tells Batman that he completes him. Nolan has a Joker here who is like a big kid who likes to set ants on fire with a magnifying glass. The Joker commits chaos for the sheer fun of it. There is a scene where he comes into room with a huge pile of money. This pile is from the floor to the ceiling. He sets it on fire. He is not some greedy crook, he is insane.

This movie is also about sacrifice. Batman is faced with hard choices in this movie. More than once he is faced with what to do that is in the best interest of Gotham. He also suffers some personal loss as well. I won’t say what it is unless there is enough inquiries for it. But Batman shows why he is the selfless hero that he is.

The Joker is hellbent on getting Batman to cross a line that Batman himself has drawn. The Dark Knight has a beautiful symmetry woven into it. The fate of Harvey Dent is also of great interest. The Gotham district attorney who eventually becomes Two Face. He is probably the most relatable character in the movie.

If you plan on going to see this move, be prepared for a thrill ride. You will get sucked into this movie, and it won’t let you go until you see The Dark Knight flash across the screen at the end. I can’t wait until the next one.

The Watchmen Trailer

On a side note, there was also a trailer for the Watchmen movie, which is based off of one of the greatest comic book stories of all time written in the 1980’s by Alan Moore. This was a question that popped up in my search terms recently.  I hope it means that a Christian girl is truly seeking answers and wanting to dress in a way that is pleasing to the Lord.

To answer the question though - no, I don’t think a Christian girl, or any girl for that matter - no matter what religion she is, should be showing cleavage.  I think too many women have fallen into the mindset that in order to be valued they have to dress sexy and show off their body.  Now I know we all want to look beautiful and there’s nothing wrong with trying to look your best, but if you feel like you have to expose parts of your body in order to get people to look at you or like you - is that really the kind of attention you want?  Wouldn’t you rather have someone pay attention to you because of who you are?

I also don’t think it’s right to parade our bodies around in front of men and then expect them to be gentlemen towards us.  Men are very visual, something I’ve written about before, and since they already have that to deal with they really don’t need us dressing so immodestly that they can’t help but ogle us.

Like I said, I found the article interesting. And as a Christian man, I happen to agree. The moral standard of our society is getting lower and lower. We are reaping the rewards of a culture that is continue to digress. Women are walking around in next to nothing. And act as if it is something to be proud of. Men are becoming soft pansies, and are also treating our women in ways they should never be treated.

Then our children are seeing this and magnifying the hellish behavior they are seeing. Then you have kids losing their virginity at 12. And they already know what oral sex is. We created these monsters America. Congratulations.

Economic Slowdown | How to survive | 5 Money Steps

Here are 5 money steps to help insure that you can keep a cool head and survive the current economic slowdown. It will run counter to what the government wants you to do, especially in regards to those stimulus checks, but you need to protect yourself.

  1. Save $1,000 as soon as you can. This is for any unplanned emergency only. You can’t not afford to get caught without any money.
  2. Save 3 to 6 months worth of essential living expenses. Housing, utilities, food, car, insurance, etc
  3. Pay off all credit cards starting with the smallest balance first. As you pay them off, apply the previous payment to the next highest balance and so one. This is a great momentum builder.
  4. Eliminate all other loans and debt. For example, car loans, student loans, etc…
  5. Last but not least, accelerate your mortgage by applying all those other payments or extra payments if you didn’t have that prior debt to reducing your mortgage. If you don’t own a home, save up for a down payment for a new one. Save at least 20%. Most lenders have super strict requirements anyway and you may not have a chance with at least this much in the bank.

There you have it. Nothing real ground breaking but if you want to survive this econonmic slowdown, and your money habits weren’t the best this will at least provide a road map to help insure that you have a level of security during the tough times ahead.

PETA - Shut the Hell Up

I have been trying stop Barack Obama from getting elected. Now I am picking another fight. Only this time it could get ugly for me, as I am going after a real whacked out group of individuals. PETA. I thought the enviromentalist nutjobs were bad, but this group takes the cake. Now as a serious commentary site that this is, I will try to refrain from anymore flaming.

Here is why groups like PETA and other organizations burn my buttocks. Its because they have a people second mentality and in this case animals first. I hate that in this soft, pansy culture we live in, those who criticize anything always have to prefice their remarks.

Like before I can criticize Barack Obama, I always have to prefice it with I am black myself, of course this is only online, lol! But before I critique these animal loving terrorist, let me prefice that with I am an owner of a 1 year old cat name Tyberius, who is a girl by the way. I have owned a cat named Sassy, and Puddy. I have had a mutt named Smokey, who had seizures frequently once he got real doggy old. And I also had a pitbull named Queen, who was my favorite before, Tyberius.

I love Tyberius, because sometimes she doesn’t know if she is a dog or a cat at times. She does great tricks when I throw her her ball. She will leap off the bed and catch it in mid air. Maybe one day I will put a video up of her in all her glory.

Anyway, now that I have said all that let me get back to my anti-PETA post. What burned my buttocks about these clowns was when I was tooling around the internet, trying not to think about Barack Hussein Obama, and how he would be a horrible president, or how John McCain shouldn’t even be the nominee, and trying to look for preowned rolex watches. I stumbled on to a blog about Jessica Simpson.

Now I could careless about the comings and goings of celebrities, but in this particular blog post I was checking out, she had on a shirt that said “real girls eat meat“. I thought that was interesting, so I did some digging to see what it was all about. So after a few minutes, I saw that apparently was a dig at Carrie Underwood who use to date Tony Romo. He happens to be Jessica’s boyfriend or new ex boyfriend, I can’t never keep up.

So after further investigation I found that, Carrie has been a two time, sexiest vegetarian of the year recipient from those butt puppets at PETA. Now thats fine and dandy, because Carrie Underwood is an attractive woman. However, they also had to throw there two little cents in. This is taken directly from the PETA blog, which I will link to at the end so you can see that garbage for yourself:

The photo speaks for itself. OK, OK, I may have doctored it a bit to get the point across, but COME ON! As you can see, Jessica Simpson was recently caught wearing a “Real Girls Eat Meat” T-shirt. Puhleeze!

For a gal who’s best known for her less-than-stellar brains (Chicken of the Sea, anyone?) and her ability to proportionately fill out daisy dukes, I’m gonna go on record saying that if anyone had to wear a ridiculous shirt like this, I’m glad it was Jessica—as people are more likely to follow the opposite of her lead … ya know, since she’s so well respected and all (yes, that was difficult to type without tossing in a hefty LOL). Maybe the meat-eaters of the world will be embarrassed to be categorized in the same field as Jessica Simpson. Ecorazzi has more on the story.

Just for funsies, here are the top five reasons that only stupid girls brag about eating meat:

1. Meat increases the risk of breast cancer. A 2007 study of 35,000 women published in the British Journal of Cancer found that women who ate meat were far more likely to develop breast cancer than women who consumed none. Will Jessica’s next t-shirt will say, “Real Girls Smoke 3 Packs a Day”?

2. Real girls don’t support animal abuse. Compassion is super sexy, if the huge number of hot celebs ditching meat is any indication. Young women turn vegetarian in droves when they learn that the meat industry cuts the sensitive beaks off newborn chicks and cuts off the tails of baby piglets.

3. The meat industry is destroying the Earth. The only thing that’s hot about the meat industry is that it’s toasting the planet. According to the United Nations, raising animals for food causes more greenhouse-gas emissions than all the cars, trucks, SUVs, planes, and ships in the world combined.

4. Meat will make you fat. All the saturated fat and cholesterol in chicken wings, pork chops, and steak eventually leads to flabby thighs and love handles. I hope the upcoming “Jessica Simpson’s Intimates” line comes in plus sizes! Going vegetarian is the best way to get slim and stay that way.

5. Eating meat steals food from starving kids. Jessica’s trip to help kids in Africa got a lot of media buzz, but by gnawing on meat, she’s essentially stealing food from the mouths of starving children since it takes up to 16 pounds of grain to produce just 1 pound of meat. If more people went vegetarian, we’d free up enough grain to feed every person in the world.

Christine, you moron, since when did eating meat become animal abuse? Beef, chicken, and fish have essential nutrients, that you could never get in fruits and vegetables. Animals are here for us. Not us for them. Do I advocate the abuse of animals? Of course not. But I darn sure won’t worship them either.

For every rat that is given the aids virus, if it will save one human, I say inject the little rodents up. If we got to give monkeys cancer, so a person in your family Christine doesn’t have to die, I say give that little chimp all kinds of maligant tumors. Whatever it takes. Everything on this planet is here for us humans to use and enjoy.

I believe that there is hope for the entire PETA organization. For all those freako actresses getting nude for those ridiculous commercials I know there is hope for you as well. Effects of Global Warming

Global Warming seems to be a pretty big topic these days and the source of a lot of controversy. There are those who seem to believe humans are destroying the planet through green house gases. Then you have the other side who believe that Global Warming is a hoax. Well I am in the latter category. You see the effects of Global Warming will eventually lead to a reduction of our way of life. This has been exasperated by former Vice President Al Gore’s movie. Here are some of them:

* The film claims that melting snows on Mount Kilimanjaro evidence global warming. The Government’s expert was forced to concede that this is not correct.
* The film suggests that evidence from ice cores proves that rising CO2 causes temperature increases over 650,000 years. The Court found that the film was misleading: over that period the rises in CO2 lagged behind the temperature rises by 800-2000 years.
* The film uses emotive images of Hurricane Katrina and suggests that this has been caused by global warming. The Government’s expert had to accept that it was “not possible” to attribute one-off events to global warming.
* The film shows the drying up of Lake Chad and claims that this was caused by global warming. The Government’s expert had to accept that this was not the case.
* The film claims that a study showed that polar bears had drowned due to disappearing arctic ice. It turned out that Mr Gore had misread the study: in fact four polar bears drowned and this was because of a particularly violent storm.
* The film threatens that global warming could stop the Gulf Stream throwing Europe into an ice age: the Claimant’s evidence was that this was a scientific impossibility.
* The film blames global warming for species losses including coral reef bleaching. The Government could not find any evidence to support this claim.
* The film suggests that the Greenland ice covering could melt causing sea levels to rise dangerously. The evidence is that Greenland will not melt for millennia.
* The film suggests that the Antarctic ice covering is melting, the evidence was that it is in fact increasing.
* The film suggests that sea levels could rise by 7m causing the displacement of millions of people. In fact the evidence is that sea levels are expected to rise by about 40cm over the next hundred years and that there is no such threat of massive migration.
* The film claims that rising sea levels has caused the evacuation of certain Pacific islands to New Zealand. The Government are unable to substantiate this and the Court observed that this appears to be a false claim.

What? How can this be? You notice that Al Gore refuses to publicly debate his “theory” with any one who disapproves with his premise. If you are so sure that the world is in peril why not debate the issue and convince the multitude of scientists who refute the claim you are right? Anyway I am getting off track.

The real effects of Global Warming is that we has a species of human beings have been indicted for so-called climate change. But has the temperature really changed all that much? Gore predicted catastrophic hurricanes which never happened. And another thing that defied the Global Warming pundits is that this has been one of the coldest winters on record in the last few decades.

  • Another question I have is, what about in the 70’s when there was mass hysteria concerning a new ice age?
  • What temperature should the earth be?
  • Is it true that cows and other animals produce a lot of the carbon dioxide that enters the atmosphere?
  • Who really benefits from carbon credits?

The Truth About “Super Delegates”

Well, Hillary Clinton won the Pennsylvania primaries yesterday and did so in a convincing fashion against Barack Obama. That spells danger for the democratic process, and the Democratic party. Here is why, Hillary has vowed not to quit. What does this have to do with “Super Delegates”? Well I am glad you asked. What this means is that at the Democrat National Convention, the nominee will be decided by 800 or so individuals. What if they decide that Hillary should be the nominee? I wouldn’t blame them, I wrote “Why Barack Obama Would Make a Horrible President”. Though Hillary would only be slightly better.  However in regards to the whole process, that would just suck if the majority of Democrats were told their vote did not count!

See here is the truth about super delegates. The Democratic Party came up with this system to steal elections! I know, I know you thought thats what the Republicans do, I understand. However, this system was contrived in the event the people chose the wrong candidate! What the heck? They came up with this brilliant process in 1984. Another truth is, they can vote for whomever they want despite the will of the people. I guess we are no longer a government of the people, for the people, by the people.

I am very conflicted because I can’t decide what would be worse, Obama becoming President, or his well deserved nomination being stolen from him. Both outcomes would have an impact that would reverberate through out history.  What do you think?

I have been ranting and raving on here for about a month or so and as I see my country continue on a downward slide, I get more and more frustrated. My lets face it, I have tried to do everything in my power to dissuade anyone who would listen to not elect Barack Obama. But the truth is, who do we elect? I have a few questions actually and maybe you want to answer to on here or maybe just to yourself.

  1. Who do we elect for president? I mean the three candidates really aren’t all that different. I have called McCain a democrat, and he continues to prove me right.
  2. If global warming is mans fault, how come the ice age ended?
  3. How come ice caps on Mars are melting?
  4. How come analysts are saying global warming will be taking a break for 10 years to make room for global cooling?
  5. Are we truly ready to elect any of these candidates
  6. What are you going to do about the worse congress we ever had?
  7. Why do we keep subsidizing corn ethanol despite the fact it is causing our food prices to soar?
  8. Why has the Fed been tanking our dollar?
  9. Why have all these shady individuals been linked to Barack Obama
  10. Why does his church have such admiration for Louis Farrakhan?
  11. Why does John McCain want to be a democrat so bad?
  12. Anyone ever heard of Bob Barr?
  13. Will a third party candidate ever stand a chance?
  14. Does anyone else wish that the first black president could be someone else?
  15. Does anyone else wish that the first woman president could be someone else?
  16. And finally, does anyone wish this government respected and followed THE CONSTITUTION?

Stop Barack Obama | Websites I like

Stop Barack Obama was a term I search in the old search engine today and I found some websites that I like. Needless to say Barack Obama would make a horrible President but I know some of you aren’t convinced. Anyway the over all theme of this blog is supposed to focus on money, politics, and religion. But everyone who finds my blog outside of the social bookmarking sites does so via search engine searches for Barack Obama, or something related to him. So since I know a little bit about supply and demand I was trying to research some more info on the Illinois Senator.

This guy for one reason or another can not seem to stay out of the news. Which I am sort of glad about because that means the longer the light is focused on him, the sooner more and more people will begin to see the truth about him. Now I will say again, I am not in support of Senator Hillary Clinton, and I am not doing back flips over Senator John Mccain either.

So anyway, I search for Stop Barack Obama, and I stumbled on to two websites that stick to mostly the facts and very little opinion, though the facts support those opinions.

Now the first site was very interesting. It has sections titled, Barack Obama’s circle of friends, regarding his judgement, various facts regarding Senator Obama like his ridiculous health care plan, and some much other valuable information to help make an informed decision.

The second Stop Barack Obama website was chock full of information and the splash page I just absolutely love. You need to check it out for yourself. But the best thing I like about the site is that it features every single vote or in his case no vote he ever made while he was in the U.S. Senate. You get to see up close and personal what he will or won’t do if hell freezes over and he wins the election. The fact that he had so many no votes is disgusting when you consider the fact that he is getting a check from our taxes to vote votes and help shape national policy. So essentially he was getting paid for not doing his job. Granted he is not the first or the last, but I wasn’t blogging when all the other screw ups was stealing our money.

Bottom line, we must stop Barack Obama. It doesn’t get any plainer than that. If you are a Barack Obama supporter or not, you owe it to yourself and this great wonderful country of ours to go check it out. Please lets not be mindless sheep. Don’t even take my word for it, but just educate your self and at least make a decision based on balanced information.

Barack Obama | Democrat Nominee

I have been quiet these last many days because there had been a dark cloud following me. That cloud being Barack Obama’s nomination was becoming more and more apparent. A funk had come over me. I mean, here I was, as passionate as possible tryiing my best to get the info out about Barack Obama. Select information resources had taken up the crusade. Such as Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, and the man everyone loves to hate, Rush Limbaugh. And since I am from Tampa, I also can’t fail to mention Todd Schnitt. On wfla 970 am at 3pm you can catch him. He is also on XM radio but I forget the station.

Anyway, history has been made. We have our first Black Presidential Nominee. The democrats did there best to make sure it would be as much turmoil as possible. I mean the whole Michigan, and Florida hoopla should never have happened. But what do you expect from a party that produced Jimmy Carter. The worst president of all time if you as me. We need to stop Barack Obama.

So we have Barack Obama. He and Hillary had a late night rendevous the other night to discuss something that has yet to be revealed. Could it be the doomsday ticket of Obama and Hillary? Or did he meet with her to tell her to keep her pie hole shut? It is anyone’s guess, but all of my politically unimformed friends are clamoring for an Obamination, er I mean Obama and Hillary ticket. Oh brother. We need to stop Barack Obama.

Then to make matters worse, you got John McCain over here on the Republican side. How in heavens name did the republicans pick John “open up the borders” McCain? Granted there wasn’t any superstars on the Republican side, but this is what you came up with on your side? Obama extra strength? And Obama is Jimmy Carter on steroids.

To all my friends who are excited about this, and who have referred to me as Uncle Tom, when you are living in the new USSR formerly know as the USA you will see that I am right. When you have to wait 3 months on a list to get a routine check up because you thought that Universal healthcare was such a hot idea, you will see that I am right. On a side note how you ignore the fact that it has failed miserably in Canada and Cuba, is beyond me.

When your taxes go up because we have to pay for that healthcare, and your taxes go up again because Bush’s tax cuts are going to be let expire, you will see that I was right. (Wait, you guys believe the lie that it only helped the top 1% right? Guess you will find out you were in that 1% lol!)

I hope Global Warming will be finally exposed as the hoax to help bring down this country will be exposed. Funny how the world has been cooling these last few years. Maybe Global Warming went on a much needed vacation. What the heck is a carbon credit!

I never met more excited people than those who are supporting the new Teflon Don, Barack Hussein Obama. If there is a Michelle Obama secret tape, I hope that save it for a few days before the election. I mean this guy has the creepiest of connections. He either he has crappy taste in friends or he is a shady cat. I need a gas scooter.

I could go on and on, but ladies and gentlemen, I hope that you are happy with your selection of a Barack Obama. I think I will go cry some more. We need to stop Barack Obama, and that is by voting for John McCain of course, just in case I have any weirdos reading this.

It is time to go on my anti Barack Obama rant. I just don’t understand what people are not understanding about this man and his socialist agendas. His pandering to every crowd he comes in front of. The fact that he has no problem with the notion of redistributing wealth.

The fact that his foreign policy ideas are idiotic. It is very clear to me and apparently a very large minority that Barack Obama would mean a disaster for our great country. I am a 27 year old black, American man who recognizes that though this country has its issues, it is the greatest in the world.

But we are on the verge of putting a man in office who will make it cease to exist as it does today. And why? Because we are angry with President Bush? I will be the first to admit that I feel ripped off by the current president. I will also admit that some, and let me say again SOME of his policies have made life better for me and my family and friends. As well as some of you.

His tax cut affected more than just 1% of rich people. Please don’t continue to believe that lie that no one else got a break from his tax cuts. I can prove it too. If Obama, becomes president, and congress lets President Bush’s tax cuts expire, everyone will see a tax increase! Thats the dirty little secret friends. But because most of the country has bought this great lie, they are willing to shoot America in the head to get back at Bush.

Barack Obama loves to preach about change. Change this. Change that. He talks about change, but he is a typical politician! He has been caught lying! He said in a 2007 debate that he would sit down without preconditions with our enemies, then just the other day he said he did not say that! He pulled a Hillary Clinton with that one.

He feels that America should be punished because of our great prosperity, that we don’t have the right to drive our SUV’s and eat what we want to eat because the rest of the world might not like it! Is he a friggin idiot???? Or does he just hate this country?

We have to stop Barack Obama from becoming the President of the United States. I hate to say it, but we must vote for the lesser of three evils, which is John Mccain. Gosh that hurts my fingers just typing that. But at least I believe he loves this country. I think Hillary likes this country eventhough her socials agendas, such as her healthcare plan, and “taking” money from oil companies would do more damage then it would help.

I am trying to give you facts about Obama. I have told you how he will make a horrible president. I am trying to give you a free online education about this man. I don’t know what more I can do. People are running talking about change, change, change, but he is like everyone else. And his policies suck. Life is going to get miserable if he gets elected.

Your taxes are going to go up to pay for his health care plan

When Bush’s tax cuts expire in 2009 or 2010, your taxes will go up again.

Add to the fact that gas is $4.00.

Food is higher because the global warming hoax is gaining steam and people are trying to turn our food in to fuel! Idiots!

Him and Hillary both want to take money from oil companies, which is so un-American its not even funny, who will in turn probably just jack the prices even higher!

He has no idea how economics work.

Barack Obama keeps company with people who hate this country.

Government sucks at taking care of people, yet he has convinced a bunch of people that government will be able to take care of them.

Wake the heck up people!!! This country will be like the Soviet Union all over again if he is allowed to run the country! Barack Obama sucks has a presidential candidate. I pray, oh God, I pray that we will not find out I am right!
